This Privacy Statement discloses the privacy practices for all products and services owned by SFS.
The information we collect is used for internal purposes only to improve the content of our web page, and to assist us in the improvement of our products and services. By using our websites, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Information collected on our websites is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

Data Collection
When visiting us during trade shows and other in-person events, participating in our webcasts or signing up for certain selected services, users might be asked, or required, to give their personal data. For internal purposes, we use this information to communicate with individuals and provide requested services, and, for our website visitors, to provide a more personalized experience on our websites. We also may collect demographic information (such as job title, company information and professional certification). We use aggregate demographic information about our audience to improve our service, and for marketing purposes.
Email Newsletters
When subscribing to our email newsletters, we ask for contact information (such as name, email address and, occasionally, additional information). We use this information in the same manner as we use contact information in the registration process described above. Recipients of our newsletters can unsubscribe using the instructions listed at the end of the email newsletter.
Surveys
From time to time, we invite our clients and website users to participate in a survey. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the website user or other customer therefore has a choice whether to disclose requested contact information (such as name and mailing address) and demographic information (such as zip code or job title). In addition to the other uses set forth in this policy, contact information collected in connection with surveys is used to monitor or improve the use of, and satisfaction with, the website or other SFS products and services. Information collected in each survey is held for restricted and confidential internal use only.
Communications With Us
Features are in place on our website where clients and users can submit information to us, such as our contact form. Where such submissions include requests for service, support or information, we will forward them to the appropriate employee to respond to the specific request. In addition, we may retain emails and other information sent to us for our internal administrative purposes, and to help us to serve customers better. Upon request, we provide website visitors with access to all information (including proprietary information) that we maintain about them, including: financial information, unique identifier information (e.g., customer number or password), transaction information and contact information. Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by calling us at the number provided below, emailing us at the address below, or writing us at the mailing address below.
Communications From Us
In order to best serve our clients, we may send updates via email that contain important information about our products and services, or we may send new members a welcoming message, and verify password and username for our online password-protected areas. We may also communicate with a customer to provide requested services and for account-related issues via email, phone or regular mail. In addition to such service- and product-essential messages, we offer our customers the option to receive information about our company, related products, and services. Users can choose not to receive email communications from us by responding to an email received from SFS with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line.
Cookies
SFS utilizes cookie technology to collect additional website usage data and to improve our websites, products and services. This data may include browser type, originating domain, the web pages visited, search terms entered and files downloaded. Most internet browsers automatically accept cookies. By editing the option within the browser, it’s possible to be prompted before accepting a cookie from the websites visited. SFS websites may also use Google Analytics to collect site usage data. You may opt out of Google Analytics here.
Do Not Track
Do Not Track is a preference set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. Most of these features, when turned on, send a signal or preference to the websites you visit indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret the Do Not Track signal, SFS does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals on our websites.
Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), California residents who have provided SFS with personal data may request certain information about the disclosure of that information for our direct marketing purposes. For California residents with questions regarding this policy, please contact SFS at customerservice@tradeanalysis.com.
Children Under 16 Years of Age
The SFS websites are not intended for, or designed to attract, children under the age of 16. SFS does not intentionally gather Personal Data about visitors who are under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Correction/Updating Personal Information
Upon request, we offer visitors the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in their contact information, financial information, unique identifiers or transaction information. If your personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code), or if you no longer desire our products/services, you can send an email to customerservice@tradeanalysis.com.
Security
Reasonable precautions are in place to protect and securely store the personal information of our users, and account data used in the production and delivery of our products and services. We have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information collected from our website. Credit card account information is encrypted, safely transmitted, and securely stored offsite. In addition, access to all of our customers’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Links
Our website may contain links to other sites. SFS is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each website to which we may link that may collect personally identifiable information.
Notification and Changes
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our website periodically.
